ZENA – god complex

ZENA arrives with sharp intent on god complex, an alternative pop record that tackles ego, power and emotional control with a cool confidence that immediately grabs your attention.

god complex moves through a darkly polished production landscape with pulsing rhythm, layered textures and a vocal delivery that balances detachment and intensity in a way that feels deliberately unsettling. The lyrics dig into the psychology of someone who holds too much power in a relationship, giving the song an edge that makes it compelling rather than comfortable to sit with.

ZENA is building a name as an artist unafraid to explore uncomfortable emotional territory through music, with a sound that draws from alternative pop and indie influences while maintaining a distinct personal identity. Her releases point to someone with a clear artistic vision and the vocal ability to carry it, making her one of the more interesting emerging voices worth keeping an eye on right now.

This record has a controlled intensity to it that pulls you in and keeps you slightly off balance throughout, which is exactly what makes it so hard to stop replaying.
