Tasha Layton – There Is A God

Tasha Layton steps into bold declarative territory with There Is A God, an American contemporary Christian record that makes its central statement without hesitation and builds everything around the unshakeable confidence of that single truth.

There is a God moves through a powerful pop worship production with a melodic build that grows from something intimate into something arena ready by the time the song reaches its full expression, giving the listening experience a journey quality that makes it feel earned rather than immediately loud. The vocals carry Tasha’s signature warmth and clarity throughout and the lyrical direction takes the title statement and unpacks it across the song with enough personal testimony and scriptural grounding to make it feel lived in rather than simply proclaimed from a comfortable distance.

Tasha Layton has carved out a respected place in the contemporary Christian music scene with releases like Into The Sea and Look What You’ve Done that demonstrated her ability to write worship songs rooted in real vulnerability and real faith at the same time. Her growing catalogue continues to attract listeners who want Christian music that addresses doubt and arrival in equal measure without pretending the journey between the two was easy or quick.

This track carries the settled assurance of someone who has asked the hard questions and come through them still standing on the same foundation they started with, which is exactly the kind of testimony that resonates with people still somewhere in the middle of their own process.

Listen and Enjoy!
