Ken Erics – Ije Di M Nukwu

Ken Erics delivers a soulful and deeply personal Igbo record with Ije Di M Nukwu, a song that speaks to the weight of life’s journey with the kind of reflective honesty that only someone who has actually walked a difficult road can authentically express.

Ije Di M Nukwu moves with the warm, organic feel of contemporary Igbo music, built on melodic instrumentation that honours the cultural tradition of the language being sung while keeping the production accessible enough to connect with a broad audience of listeners beyond the Southeast Nigerian base. The vocals carry a weariness and resolve in equal measure, giving the record an emotional complexity that makes it feel lived in rather than written, and that authenticity is what separates it from music that merely sounds good without meaning anything deeper.

Ken Erics is widely recognised across Nigeria not only as a celebrated Nollywood actor but as a recording artist whose music consistently reflects his cultural roots and personal faith journey, building a catalogue that speaks directly to Igbo audiences while carrying themes universal enough to resonate well beyond any single community. His credibility across both entertainment industries gives his music releases an audience that is already emotionally invested in who he is as a person, which means every record he puts out carries weight before a single note is even heard.

This song has the quality of something that was written in a quiet moment of reckoning with life rather than in a studio session chasing a sound, and that sincerity is what makes it linger long after the listening ends.

Stay Tuned and Enjoy!
