KAIVON – To Build A Home

KAIVON takes on a beloved and emotionally charged song with To Build A Home, delivering an electronic reimagining of the Cinematic Orchestra classic that honours the weight of the original while carving out a space that is entirely his own.

To Build A Home moves through KAIVON’s signature melodic bass and progressive electronic production with a careful reverence for the emotional architecture of the source material, building tension and release in a way that makes the familiar lyrics and melody land with a freshness that genuinely earns the cover rather than simply borrowing the song’s existing emotional capital. The production swells and retreats with the kind of intentionality that separates artists who understand dynamics from those who simply layer sounds, making the listening experience feel like a fully realised artistic statement rather than a remix exercise.

KAIVON has been establishing himself as one of the more emotionally intelligent producers in the melodic bass and electronic music space, building a catalogue of original releases and reimaginings that consistently demonstrate a maturity of feeling that sets him apart from peers who prioritise technical spectacle over genuine emotional resonance. His approach to electronic music as a vehicle for real human emotion rather than a showcase for production technique has earned him a growing and deeply loyal audience that returns to his work specifically because of how consistently it makes them feel something.

This record carries the specific ache of a song that already meant something being handled by someone who understood exactly why it mattered and was careful enough not to break it in the process.
