Nasty C – PLOT TWISTN (C-MIX)

Nasty C flips the script with characteristic sharpness on PLOT TWISTN (C-MIX), a South African hip hop record that puts his own creative stamp on a familiar concept and delivers it with the lyrical precision and confident energy that has made him one of Africa’s most respected rappers.

PLOT TWISTN (C-MIX) moves on a slick, hard-hitting production with the kind of beat selection that gives Nasty C’s rapid-fire delivery the perfect surface to showcase exactly why his pen game has consistently been rated among the continent’s very best, keeping the momentum high while the lyrical complexity rewards anyone paying close enough attention. The C-MIX tag signals a personal reimagining rather than a standard remix, and the record delivers on that promise by feeling like a creative statement rather than a functional rework, with every bar carrying the fingerprint of an artist who approaches every version of a song as an opportunity to say something new.

Nasty C has built one of the most impressive rap catalogues to come out of Africa in the past decade, with projects like Zulu Man With Some Power and a string of international collaborations that have earned him genuine recognition well beyond South Africa’s borders and positioned him as a flag bearer for African hip hop on the global stage. His consistent ability to deliver technically demanding rap with mainstream appeal while maintaining creative control over his artistic direction is exactly what keeps him relevant in a genre that demands constant evolution from its best practitioners.

This record moves with the confidence of an artist who understands that the best plot twist is always the one you did not see coming from someone you thought you already had figured out.

Stay Tuned and Enjoy!
