Ojadiliigbo – Sea Never Dry

Ojadiliigbo delivers a powerful and spiritually charged record with Sea Never Dry, an Igbo cultural music offering that draws on the imagery of abundance and divine provision to create something that feels both ancient in spirit and vibrantly alive.

Sea Never Dry moves with the full, textured energy of Igbo highlife and folk-influenced production, built on layered instrumentation and vocals that carry the kind of declarative confidence that comes from singing about something you genuinely believe rather than something you are performing for an audience. The lyrical imagery of an inexhaustible sea speaks to themes of unending blessing and grace, giving the record a depth that makes it resonate spiritually and culturally with listeners who understand the weight of what is being said.

Ojadiliigbo has been making a meaningful mark in the Igbo cultural music space through releases that honour indigenous musical traditions while connecting with a contemporary audience that is increasingly hungry for music rooted in authentic African identity and expression. Their collaborations and releases consistently reflect an artistic vision committed to preserving and celebrating Igbo cultural heritage through sound in a way that feels urgent and necessary in the current musical landscape.

This record has the expansive, overflowing quality of its central metaphor built directly into the music itself, generous and full in a way that leaves you feeling like something has been added to you simply by listening to it.
