Smtve – Runaway

Smtve taps into that universal urge to leave everything behind with Runaway, an indie pop and alternative record that captures the restless desire for escape that most people feel but rarely act on.

Runaway moves through a dreamy atmospheric production with soft layered textures and vocals that carry a wandering quality throughout the track. The lyrical direction explores the pull of leaving without necessarily knowing where you are going, and the listening experience feels like standing at the edge of a decision you have been putting off, equal parts terrifying and quietly exhilarating.

Smtve has been developing a sound in the independent alternative and indie pop space with releases that lean into escapism and emotional restlessness, building a catalogue that resonates with listeners who use music to process the feelings they cannot quite act on in real life. Their growing output reflects an artist finding a distinct creative voice through consistent exploration.

This track carries a restless wandering energy that makes it the kind of song best listened to alone with headphones, ideally while staring out of a window at somewhere you have never been.

Listen and Enjoy!
