Jon Reddick – Holding On (Praise God)

Jon Reddick delivers a gospel declaration built for the moments when faith is the only thing left standing with Holding On (Praise God), a contemporary Christian record that speaks honestly about struggle without letting go of the praise in the same breath.

Holding On (Praise God) moves through a soulful contemporary gospel production with rich vocal layering and an arrangement that builds steadily from a place of quiet endurance into something more expansive and celebratory as the song progresses. The listening experience captures that specific tension between difficulty and worship that real faith actually lives in most of the time, and the lyrical direction handles that tension with a maturity and warmth that makes the track feel genuinely comforting rather than simply inspirational in a surface level way.

Jon Reddick has established himself as one of the more compelling voices in contemporary Christian worship music, earning widespread recognition through his association with Elevation Worship and building a solo profile that reflects both his songwriting depth and his ability to lead listeners into genuine moments of encounter rather than just performance. His releases consistently resonate with a broad Christian audience that values worship music grounded in real theological substance delivered through genuinely excellent musicianship.

This record has the kind of staying power that comes from a song written in an honest place, the sort of track that finds people in their hardest seasons and gives them something true to hold onto.

Listen and Enjoy!
